junior club

The junior section of our club was set up in September 2010 as some of the ladies team members' daughters wanted to play netball.  Since then, it has become really popular and we now have a large number of players aged between 9 and 16-years-old (years 5 to 11). The daughters have now all gone up to the ladies section.

We train on Monday nights at Bingham Leisure Centre from 7-8pm.  Fees are £2.00 per session but your first week is free.

Do come along and join us. We train outside so wrap up warm in the winter months.  We allow you to wear hats, gloves, scarves and coats - waterproofs can be very useful!

We are a bronze accredited CAPS Club and working towards our Silver Award, to find out more, click here.

All players must affiliate to England Netball within 3 weeks of starting.  Costs for the year (September 2017 to August 2018) are:

  • £22.20 aged 18 years and under*

  • £10.55 aged 14 years and under*

  • £5.30 aged 11 years and under*

* ages are as at 1 September in the year of membership

Please note: these costs are for new players only.  If you are an existing club member, please speak to Sue who will advise on your annual affiliation.

All players/parents/helpers must sign and abide by the club's Code of Conduct which is issued on the first night of training.  All Coaches and helpers are DBS checked and have attended the relevant courses for safe guarding and first aid.

We are always looking for an extra pair of hands to help with the busy sessions, so do let us know if you are interested.

We offer our older players the chance to sign up to England Netball’s Pass On Your Passion.
